Urban Marmite

Terms of use

Last updated: November 2, 2026

These terms govern the use of the Urban Marmite platform, published by [TO COMPLETE]. By creating an account, you accept them. The French version prevails in case of discrepancy.

1. Purpose

Urban Marmite connects businesses: on one side kitchens without a dining room (dark kitchens, caterers, restaurants with spare capacity), on the other venues without a kitchen (bars, coworking spaces, hotels, offices, event venues) that want to offer food.

2. Business users only

The platform is for professionals acting in the course of their business. By signing up, you confirm you are authorised to represent the business you register and that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.

One account per business is allowed. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

3. Role of the platform

Urban Marmite acts only as a technical intermediary. The publisher is not a party to agreements between users: prices, quantities, logistics, invoicing, insurance and partnership terms are freely agreed by them and under their sole responsibility.

The publisher does not guarantee that an introduction will lead to a partnership, nor the quality of services exchanged between users.

4. Food safety and regulatory obligations

Each user remains solely responsible for complying with the regulations that apply to their business, including food hygiene (HACCP, sanitary declaration or approval), traceability, allergen information and alcohol licences.

Unless the partners agree otherwise, the kitchen is responsible for production and the cold chain until handover; the venue is responsible for storage, reheating and service.

Certifications shown on profiles are declared by users. SIRET verification confirms that an active business exists, not that its premises comply with regulations.

5. Published content

You guarantee that you hold the rights to the texts, photos and logos you publish. You grant the publisher, for as long as your account exists, a free, non-exclusive licence to display them on the platform and in communications about the service.

Prohibited: false or misleading content, illegal or abusive content, unrelated commercial solicitation, and harvesting other users' data.

6. How profiles are ranked

Search shows profiles whose email address is confirmed, that are published and not suspended. They are ranked first by whether the business is verified, then by last update date. Filters (city, cuisine, day, service) narrow the results without changing this order. No user can pay to rank higher.

7. Moderation, suspension and termination

The publisher may hide a profile or suspend an account for breach of these terms, illegal content or a well-founded report. Except in emergencies or where required by law, the user is told about the measure and its reasons and may respond at the contact address.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.

8. Prices

The platform is free during the launch phase. Paid services will be announced at least 30 days in advance; you may then delete your account at no cost.

9. Liability

The publisher uses reasonable means to keep the platform available and secure, without guaranteeing uninterrupted service. It is not liable for agreements, disputes or damage arising between users.

10. Personal data

How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

11. Changes to these terms

Changes to these terms are notified by email at least 15 days before they take effect.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. For any complaint, contact contact@belboudou.com first: we commit to answering within 15 days. Failing an amicable solution, the courts with jurisdiction over the publisher's registered office have sole jurisdiction.
